Many Congressmen killed during Telugu Desam rule: Jana Reddy

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Home Minister K. Jana Reddy said on Tuesday that more Congress supporters were killed than TDP men in the last 17 years that witnessed bitter political and faction feuds in various parts, particularly Raylaseema.

Reacting to reports in a section of press, Mr. Reddy told a news conference that 707 Congressmen were killed as against 658 TDP men during the period. He said that the killings were on account of faction feuds and yearning for political supremacy and had nothing to do with parties in power.
