The store has U.S., Europe brands Has its own private labels too HYDERABAD: Reliance Retail Ltd. launched yet another of its specialty store, “Reliance Footprint”, on the Rajbhavan Road here on Wednesday. The company opened a store on 100 ft road, Indiranagar, in Bangalore. Reliance Footprint plans to have a pan-India presence by opening over 15 such large specialty stores across metros and mini-metros in the next 12 months. After the launch of the supermarket format “Reliance Fresh”, and, hypermarket format “Reliance Mart”, the company is rolling out its fifth specialty format store across the country, Digital in Ghaziabad, Trends in Gurgaon, Wellness in Hyderabad, Jewels in Bangalore and now Footprint, according to a company release. The store is spread over 10,000 sq. ft. and is exclusively meant for footwear, handbags and accessories. It will have a range of over 25,000 products for an entire family. The design of Footprint has been conceptualised by one of a leading design house, Pavlik from the U.S., keeping in mind the taste and preferences of the Indian consumer. The store has brands from Europe and America. Reliance Footprint has also invested in its own private labels which are offered across the value-premium continuum.
