BANGALORE: ASC posted its second win in eight matches with a 4-1 victory over DYSS in the State Super Division football league at the football stadium here on Wednesday.
With this win, ASC takes its tally to nine points. DYSS, on the other hand, languishes at the bottom with just one point.
It was DYSS which went into the lead with Kiran Kumar booting home a cross from the right in the eighth minute. ASC’s consistent goal-getter Raju Biswas netted three goals in the 28th, 34th and 79th to take his team to a comfortable victory. Rakesh Singh slotted in a penalty in the 65th minute. In the A division league, AGORC routed HMT 4-0 for its fourth win in nine matches to tally 16 points. Iman Khum (2), Sashidhar and Kewal struck for the winner.
