Road rage case

NEW DELHI: Two brothers were allegedly beaten up by two men on a motorcycle at Delhi Cantonment here on Tuesday following an altercation over overtaking.

According to the police, the incident took place around 9 p.m. when Mayank Jain and Mohit Jain were returning home in their car from a gurdwara in Tilak Nagar. Two men, later identified as Dinesh and Daniel, who were riding a motorcycle did not allow the brothers to overtake them.

Infuriated over the repeated honking, the motorcyclists stopped the car near Kirbi Place intersection, pulled the brothers out, and allegedly punched them and hit them with their helmets.

The police have registered a case of voluntarily causing hurt and wrongful restraint against the duo and arrested them.
