NTPC Raising Day

The 32nd Raising Day of NTPC was celebrated on Wednesday at its Simhadri plant. Commissioned with one station of 300 MW capacity, it now has an installed capacity of 27,904 MW with various power stations all over the country, R. Venkateswaran, GM in-charge, said at a meeting after inspecting a march past by the CISF.

Sai Deva Harsha, winner of a TV channel’s singing contest, was honoured at the cultural programmes .
