Script writer felicitated

GUNTUR: R. Ananda Mohan, a Guntur based script writer, was felicitated by students and staff of Andhra Christian College on Wednesday. Ananda Mohan, whose script Silent Scream-1 was accepted by a New York based film agency, was a student of A.C. College during 1993-1998.

College principal K.E. Manorama Bai and other staff members presented a memento to him. The principal lauded the achievements of the youngster and said that he had been a role model to many youth. The college established in 1885, produced many stalwarts like N.T. Rama Rao and the achievement of Anand would too be recorded in the history of the college. In his response, the script writer recalled the days spent in the college and attributed his success to the constant guidance of his teachers and friends.

Though he was from a humble background, he could achieve his goal due to the constant encouragement from his teachers, he said.
