New Collector assumes charge

KANCHEEPURAM: Santosh K. Misra, former Collector of the Nilgiris district, assumed charge as Kancheepuram Collector on Wednesday.

V. Rajaraman, District Revenue Officer, who took over as Collector in-charge from the previous Collector, Pradeep Yadav two days ago, handed over the charge to Mr. Misra at the Collectorate. Mr. Yadav was transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in Agriculture Department, Secretariat, Chennai. Prior to his posting as Nilgiris Collector, Mr. Misra served as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Coimbatore and as sub-Collector, Pudukottai district.
