JOHANNESBURG: Stephen Fleming’s dislocated thumb will not stop him trying to steady New Zealand’s shaky batting in the first Test against South Africa starting on Thursday. Pollock outThe Test future of veteran South African all-rounder Shaun Pollock was thrown in doubt when he was left out of the team. Pollock had been included in a 12-man squad but captain Graeme Smith announced that South Africa would field an unchanged team following a Test series win in Pakistan last month when Pollock was not playing.
