Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Government has appointed Dr Balraj Chauhan as the first full-time director of the city-based Ram Manohar Lohia Law Institute. He is presently working as director of National Law Institute, Bhopal, an official release issued here said on Friday. Dr Chauhan, who had been associated as senior faculty member of the Lucknow University’s department of law, was also bestowed with the Commonwealth Foundation fellowship in 2001, the release added.
