Dheevara Sabha meeting from November 16

KOLLAM: The 13th State conference of the All-Kerala Dheevara Sabha will be held at Karunagapally, near here, from November 16 to 18.

Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi will inaugurate the conference.

Minister for Food and Civil Supplies C. Divakaran will distribute the education awards.

V. Dinakaran, general secretary of the Sabha, said Minister for Devaswom G. Sudhakaran; P. Rajendran, Kollam MP; and Shibu Baby John and Rajan Babu, former MLAs, will address the inaugural function.

Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran will inaugurate a women, youth and cultural conference on November 17.

Minister for Fisheries S. Sarma will inaugurate a fish workers’ conference the same day. K.V. Thomas, T.N. Prathapan and K. Kutty Ahmed Kutty, MLAs, will speak.

Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy will inaugurate a reservation community conference on November 18.
