HYDERABAD: A show cause notice has been served on seeds major Mahico Seeds Company for keeping stocks of seeds without proper licence at Kallakal village in Medak district.
Disclosing this in the Legislative Council on Wednesday while fielding a question from K. R. Amos (Congress), Agriculture Minister N. Raghuveera Reddy said a massive stock had been seized from the place. However, the firm approached the High Court which, in turn, directed for disposal of the seized seeds under the Essential Commodities Act.
Municipal Administration Minister K. Ranga Rao told D. Rami Reddy that service rules were being framed for teachers working in municipalities and corporations and that all the existing vacancies would be filled once these were ready.
