BANGALORE: V. Amar and Ankita Ashoka won the men and women’s singles titles respectively in the Wearhouse State-ranking badminton championship which concluded at the Sadhashivanagar Club courts on Thursday.
In the men’s final, the top-seeded Amar defeated third seed, D. Guruprasad 21-7, 21-17 while Ankita humbled top seed Monisha Vinayak 21-11, 21-12 in the women’s final.
