NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old man wanted in connection with the murder of a police constable has been arrested at Dhaula Kuan by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police.
Acting on a tip-off, Joginder Singh alias Johny was arrested on Wednesday around 4-30 p.m. Two .9 mm calibre pistols and three live cartridges have been seized, the police said.
Joginder along with his accomplices attacked a police team at Jaipur in Rajasthan early this year to release their gang member, shooting Rajasthan Police constable Vikram Singh from point-blank range, the police said. Joginder carried a reward of Rs. 5,000 on his head.
