Demand for costal police station
Thiruvananthapuram: Trivandrum Residents Apex Council (TRAC) has urged the government to take steps to provide more facilities for the Coast Guard and to start functioning of the coastal police station at Vizhinjam. TRAC president Amaravila Krishnan Nair and general secretary K.T. Roy in a joint statement said the Coast Guard needs to be provided more facilities to curb militant activities and to enable them to carry out rescue operations of fishermen in distress.
