New Delhi: A professor couple here was arrested after CCTV footages purportedly showed them stealing diamonds during an exhibition in the Capital.
The couple had allegedly stolen a diamond and a necklace during a jewellery exhibition by MMTC at Ashoka Hotel held between Oct 27 and 31.
Sunil Ohri (52) and Shobhana (50), residing in the posh Greater Kailash Colony and teachers at a prominent management school, were arrested from hotel Park Royal on Thursday, where the same exhibitors were holding another exhibition, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Anand Mohan said.
They were produced before a court on Thursday which sent them to judicial custody.
