Ashutosh in singles final

NEW DELHI: National champion Ashutosh Singh entered the singles final and won the doubles title in the $10,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament at Lahore on Friday.

The results (featuring Indians): Singles (semifinals): Ashutosh Singh bt Bogdan-Victor Leonte (Rom) 6-0, 7-5; Adam Vemelka (Cze) bt Sunil Kumar 7-5, 4-6, 6-3. Doubles (final): Vivek Shokeen and Ashutosh Singh bt Bogdan-Victr Leonte (Rou) and Adam Vejmelka (Cze) 6-1, 6-4.
