BANGALORE: A girl Pramila was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her maternal uncle’s residence in Madiwala Police Station limits on Wednesday. The police have registered a case of murder on the basis of a complaint by Pramila’s father Chikkasiddaiah, a resident of Belathur village in Mandya district. Pramila was working in a garment factory and was staying with her uncles Puttaswamy and Rajesh and Puttaswamy’s wife Latha in Kodichikkanahalli in the city. Her uncles reportedly objected to Pramila’s friendship with boys. After many warnings, Puttaswamy finally left Pramila with her parents on Wednesday. Even before Puttaswamy reach his home in Bangalore, Pramila was back there, it is said. A quarrel ensued and Pramila was found dead at the house. The police said the body bore injuries on the neck and chest. The Madiwala police have registered a case of murder and sent the body for post-mortem. The police are yet to arrest the suspects Puttaswamy, Latha and Rajesh. RobbedThree miscreants assaulted Mohammed Kaleemulla, a resident of R.T. Nagar, with an iron rod and decamped with Rs. 1.1 lakh in cash in Yelahanka police station limits on Thursday. The police said the incident occurred near Jakkur Aerodrome on GKVK neighbourhood road. The Yelahanka police have registered a case and are investigating. Three die in accidentsThree persons, including an 80-year-old woman, died in as many accidents reported from different parts of the city since Thursday evening.Earamma (80), who was returning home from a temple with her daughter early on Friday morning was hit by a vehicle and died on the spot near Somanahalli in Vijayanagar Traffic police limits. The absence of streetlights on Hosur Road claimed another life on Thursday night when Israel Joseph (52), a security personnel, was hit by a vehicle on Naganathapura Service Road. Joseph died on the spot, police said. He was a resident of Hosa Road. The Madiwala Traffic police have registered a case. A 34-year-old civil contractor was knocked down by a BMTC bus near the KEB Junction on the Outer Ring Road in Banasawadi Traffic police station limits on Thursday. The Motorcycle rider M.V. Ramesh, a resident of Doddakannalli, Sarjapur Road, died on the spot.
