Preview of Indian art

BANGALORE: Indian artists — 19 of them — will share space with artists from Romania, Morocco, Spain and Italy at the first ‘International Biennale of Contemporary Art’ to be held in Adana, Turkey, in December. But not before they allow art connoisseurs in the city a preview of their work.

The artists, selected from across the country, include Azis T.M., John C.F., Rani Rekha, Rekha Rao, Shibu Arakkal and Vasudev S.G. from Bangalore; Achuthan Kudallur, Adimoolam K.M. and Palaniappan R.M. from Chennai; Sisir Sahana from Hyderabad; Chandra Bhattacharjee, Rathin Kanji and Samir Aich from Kolkata.

The Indian section of the international exhibition will be held on November 12 at 6.30 p.m. at Royal Orchid Hotels on Airport Road. For more information, call Stella Bharati at 41162622.
