Musical evening on Children’s Day

BANGALORE: Here is a Children’s Day event where children are not the just the centre of celebration, but the masters of the show, promising to entertain music lovers in the city.
Three soloists and a choir of visually challenged children will present a musical evening on Wednesday. Young pianist Neville Bharucha will perform his favourite classics, and 10-year-old Carnatic flute prodigy Akash Kumar and the multi-talented singer and pianist Shalini Menon will also perform. The show will conclude with Jyothi Seva Children’s Choir of visually impaired children singing in several languages. The event, organised by the Bangalore School of Music will be take place at Alliance Francaise on November 14 at 6.30 p.m. There will also be high tea organised for 50 children at 5.30 p.m.
