Announcing this at a media conference here on Saturday, director V. Ramesh said that some stills had already been shot for the film that was set in the pre-Christian era.

The shooting of the film, to be completed in two schedules in 40 days, would begin in the last week of December. It would be shot in Bheemunipatnam, Araku, Kulu Manali (Himachal Pradesh) and the deserts of Rajasthan. New artistes would be chosen to give identity to the characters. Film’s producer P. Kishore would be the hero and search was on to choose a new face to star opposite him. The film, that is yet to be named, revolves around a princess who is kidnapped by a magician and how the hero saves her.
