Chess champion feted

Kakinada: District Collector M. Subrahmanyam has complimented national under-7 chess champion Yejjavarapu Grahesh, a second standard student of Future Kids school, Rajahmundry, for bringing laurels to East Godavari district. A cheque for Rs.5,000 was presented to Grahesh as incentive at a function held at the Collector’s camp office here on Saturday. Grahesh clinched the title at the championships held in Lucknow in October and was qualified to participate in the world under-8 championships.
