Five injured in road accidents

Srinagar: Five persons were injured in separate road mishaps in the Kashmir Valley on Saturday, the police said.

A driver, Abdul Qayoom Khan, was critically injured when a vehicle of 57 Rashtriya Rifles hit an SUV at Hari-Ganiwan, 40 km from here in Ganderbal district, a police spokesman said.

He said two persons were injured when a truck hit the scooter they were travelling in, at Nesbal Ganderbal crossing.

Two persons were injured as a truck hit a car at Nuner Ganderbal. The injured were hospitalised, the spokesman added.
