MP slams Shivakumar

DAVANGERE: G.M. Siddeshwar, Davangere MP and Vice-President of the BJP State unit, has strongly criticised the Congress leader, D.K. Shivakumar, for making unsavoury and derogatory statement on BJP leader H.N. Ananth Kumar. The MP said in a release here that if Mr. Shivakumar failed to tender an apology publicly, the State BJP would not hesitate to take legal action against him. Mr. Siddehwar asked what was wrong in Mr. Ananth Kumar’s statement that Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had not belonged to Mahatma Gandhiji’s family. — Staff Correspondent
