KOCHI: Promising youngster P.Ramkumar (84 off 115 balls, 10x4, 1x6) and Vinod (4-23) helped host Cordiant Tripunithura CC ‘A’ defeat BPCL Kochi Refinery by six wickets and enter the first phase final of the Cordiant-Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Saturday.
The scores: BPCL Kochi Refinery, Ekm 209 for nine in 45 overs (Vineeth Viswanath 76, Vinod four for 23) lost to Cordiant-TCC, Ekm 210 for four in 41 overs (P.Ramkumar 84, Gowjith Subhash 65).
Friday’s match: Muthoot-ECC, Ekm 274 in 43.5 overs (Manikandan 69, Suresh 50) bt Swantons, Ekm 199 in 40.1 overs (Sachin Baby 88, Jiju Janardhanan three for 38, Anandakuttan three for 34, Mozhar three for 40).
