Guard held for assaulting designer

NEW DELHI: A security guard of a showroom at a shopping mall in Malviya Nagar here was arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting a jewellery designer late on Thursday evening. Poonam, who owns a shop adjacent to the showroom that Ranjeet Singh worked for, had an altercation with its owners over some renovation work going on there.

She alleged that Ranjeet physically assaulted her while she was returning home on Thursday.
