School fairs begin today

KOZHIKODE: The Kozhikode education district science, mathematics, IT, social science and work experience fairs will be held at various schools in the city from Monday to Wednesday.

P.M.A. Salam, MLA, will inaugurate the science fair at Government Ganapath Girls HSS here on Monday. IT and science fairs will be held at Government Ganapath Girls HSS. Mathematics fair will be held at Government Ganapath Boys Higher Secondary Scholl, while social science fair will be held at Chalappuram Achutan Girls Higher Secondary School. The work experience fair will be held at Chalappuram Achutan LP School.

While 500 students were expected to participate in the science fair, 800 would take part in the social science fair, 700 in the mathematics fair, 1,100 in the work experience fair, and 200 in the IT fair, N.A. Basheer, reception committee vice-chairman of the fairs, and C. Sadanandan, publicity convener, said.
