Ties between rationalists and secular believers stressed

Staff Reporter

KANNUR: District conference of the Kerala Yukthivadi Sanghom held in Mahe on Sunday underlined the importance of co-operation between rationalists and secular-minded believers.

Federation of Indian Rationalists Association secretary U. Kalanathan inaugurated the conference. He said that illiteracy of the literate population of the State was a major social problem in the State.

Believers were becoming victims of calculated falsification of facts, he said.

Calling on rationalists to adopt scientific approach to expose superstition, he also said that miracle exposure was a major weapon of the Yukthivadi Sanghom.
