SALEM: Co-operative institutions should prepare themselves for facing challenges emerging from liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation, National Council for Cooperative Training Secretary T. Paranjothi has said. At a function at Periyar University, he said that commitment, transparency and attitudinal change were important for sustaining the development of co-operatives. Skill development was the key for successful functioning of co-operatives, he added. Students and faculty members attended.
