Assault condemned

PERAMBALUR: Cadres of the Congress staged an agitation near the Kamaraj arch here protesting the assault on State Youth Congress leader S. Jayakumar in Chennai on Sunday. Led by the Town Youth Congress president Ilayaraja, they demanded immediate arrest of those involved in the attack. The vice-chairman of the Alathur panchayat union Asokan also participated.
