Two women commit suicide

BERHAMPUR: Kanchan Meher (55) and her daughter Kamala Meher (30) committed suicide together by consuming poisonous wild fruits at Mochi Sahi area of Phulbani in Kandhamal district. Kanchan’s husband Purna Meher and their son-in-law were menial labourers. It is suspected that family tussle due to poverty may have led these two women to commit suicide.
