Body found
The torched body of an unidentified woman aged about 55 years was found beside a drain at Qutbullahpur village on Sunday.
The Jeedimetla police registered a murder case suspecting that the woman was strangled to death
before being doused in kerosene
and set ablaze.
After performing autopsy, the forensic doctors opined that there were no ante-mortem injuries on the body suggesting that it was not a murder.
Electrician commits suicide
An electrician V. Srinivas,
25, reportedly committed suicide on Sunday after his wife left to her parents
house following a quarrel over a family issue, the
police said.
A resident of Ramreddynagar in Amberpet, the victim had an argument with his wife
on Deepavali following
which she went to her parents’ house.
Srinivas ended his life by hanging in the house.
