NEW DELHI: A teenaged boy was critically injured by a Blueline bus at Adarsh Nagar here on Sunday.
According to the police, the 16-year-old victim, who is yet to be identified, was waiting at a bus stop when the bus plying between Jehangirpuri and Shadipur knocked him down. “The boy was standing by the roadside when the rashly driven bus hit him from behind. The driver immediately fled from the spot. We could not even note down the registration number of the bus,” said an eyewitness. Soon passers-by gathered at the spot and the boy was taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. He was later shifted to Sushruta Trauma Centre where his condition is said to be serious.
