Notice issued on slack security

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Monday sought a response from the Centre and the city police over reported lack of security along the railway track near Nizamuddin station, where allegedly two people die per day on average.

A Bench comprising Justices T S Thakur and Veena Birbal directed the government and the police to file their response by November 19 when the matter will be taken up for further direction.

The High Court was passing the order on a PIL filed by a lawyer, Purnima Sethi.
