Government’s share of profit handed over

CHENNAI: Tourism and Registration Minister N. Suresh Rajan on Monday presented a cheque for Rs.1.71 crore to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi towards the Government’s share of profit earned by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation.

A release said the Government, in an order issued in April, allowed the Corporation to remit 50 per cent of the profit to it as against 75 per cent earlier and make the payment in one instalment.
