PANAJI: Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will inaugurate a three-day annual South Asia Media Summit 2007 organised by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES-India), Media Information and Communication Centre of India (MICCI) and the International Centre Goa (ICG) on Friday. The theme of the summit is “Media and public interest in south Asia”. Third summitThis is the third annual summit being organised in collaboration with the International Centre Goa. Goa Speaker Pratapsingh Rane, president of the International Centre Goa, Bhaskar Ghose, Chief Executive Officer, Lok Sabha TV, M. Rajaretnam, Director/Chief Executive of the International Centre Goa, Rajeshwar Dyal, Senior Media Advisor, FES-India, Nandini Sahai, Director, Media Information and Communication Centre of India, will be present on the occasion. Over 35 senior mediapersons from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and India will participate in the summit.
