Two killed

MALAPPURAM: Two members of a family were killed and six of the relatives injured when the van in which they were travelling rammed a wall at Oorakam, near here, on Tuesday. Pattathodika Kunhali, 65, and Shareef Ali, 12, died on the way to hospital. The deceased hail from Thennala, near Kottakkal. Kunhali’s wife, Kunhikadeemu, 57; son, Abdul Nasar, 35; daughter, Rukhiya, 37; granddaughter, Rayhanath, 20; relatives, Shamsad Begum, 28; and Marshid Banu, 6; were admitted to hospital with serious injuries. — Staff Reporter
