Kranti Dal to elect new president

DEHRA DUN: The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, sharing power with the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttarakhand, will hold its organisational elections at a two-day convention beginning in Mussoorie on December 2.

Announcing this here on Tuesday, the party’s chief election officer, Latafat Hussain, said that after due deliberations the electoral college will elect the party’s new president, vice-president, general secretary and other office-bearers on December 3.

The last date for filing nominations is November 20.

The papers would be scrutinised on November 21 and the last date for the withdrawal of nominations would be November 25, Mr. Hussain said.
