Painting contest

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of a national campaign to create awareness among schoolchildren on energy conservation, the Ministry of Power (MOP) is organising a painting competition for the students of classes IV and V. The topics for the competition are “Global Warming is Harming” and “Today’s electricity wastage is tomorrow’s power shortage”. The State-level competition will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium here.
