Addictive influence

Noted poet and lyricist O.N.V. Kurup, who attended The Hindu Young World quiz held in the city last week, was critical of the addictive influence of the Harry Potter series. Recalling the world-wide release of the seventh and final edition of the series, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ in July, the poet said the influence of the book on its readers was so powerful that even he was forced to ensure an early copy of the book for his gra nddaughter who was a die-hard fan of the same.
