Power shutdown

There will be no power supply in the following areas between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 24 (Saturday), owing to the maintenance work to be carried out at the Samayanallur sub-station: Samayanallur, Thenoor, Tiruvedagam, Sholavandan, Melakkal, Nagari, Athalai, Paravai, Podumbu, Alanganallur, T. Mettupatti, Oorseri, Azhagapuri, and Vavidamarudur, according to a TNEB release.
