One arrested, contraband seized

NEW DELHI: One person has been arrested by the Narcotics and Crime Prevention Cell of the Delhi police at Wazirabad here for allegedly being in possession of heroin.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team arrested Ratan Singh of Usmanpur near Mother Dairy on Monday. The police allegedly seized 260 gm of the contraband from him. During interrogation, Ratan purportedly told the police that he had come to the spot to deliver heroin to a customer.
