50 years of Legislature

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Legislature will be organising seminars, exhibitions and quiz and essay competitions for students in connection with the Golden Jubilee of the Legislative Assembly.
Speaker K. Radhakrishnan said the Legislature also intended to bring out a reference volume on 50 years of legislation and a souvenir.
He said the Legislature Secretariat would organise an exhibition on the democratic heritage and achievements of Parliamentary democracy. The exhibition would held in Thrissur (November 26-28), Ernakulam (January 9-11, 2008), Kottayam (January 14-16) and Kollam (January 22-24).
