TUMKUR: Two persons from Chennapatna were killed on the spot when a private bus knocked them down at Honnudike Handpost, 9 km from Tumkur, on Wednesday evening. The police said the victims were waiting to board a bus at the Handpost to go to Magadi when the accident occurred, it was said. The police were yet to establish the identity of the victims. Manjunath (35) was killed on the spot on Wednesday when an unidentified vehicle knocked down the two-wheeler. He returning home after visiting his in-laws at Thorehalli. Nagaraj, who was riding pillion, was injured and he has been admitted to a hospital here.
