Paritala case: trial delayed

ANANTAPUR: The Paritala Ravindra murder case was adjourned once again to November 21 here on Wednesday without any progress in the process for commencement of trial due to the absence of five out of the 16 accused in the case.

As the presence of all the accused at the time of framing of charges is mandatory in important cases, the process for commencement of trial has failed to make any progress since June.

District and Sessions Judge K. Gaddenna observed that he had decided to write a letter to the Superintendent of Police to ensure the presence of all the accused for framing of charges and enable the case make even a small progress.
