Malaria: six children among seven dead in A.P.

ADILABAD: Seven persons, including six children, reportedly died of malaria in villages of Narnoor, Sirpur (U) and Jainoor mandals during the last 24 hours.

District Medical and Health Officer S. Vignanachary confirmed the deaths but said a report from the medical team, that was rushed to the affected villages, is awaited.

In Narnoor mandal’s Gondguda, 18-month-old Vijay Shanti, in Chittaguda eight-year-old Atram Katod, in Kandwa four-year-old Jadhav Ankulibai, in Kothapalli (H) eight-year-old Durge Kiran and another four-year-old in Boddaguda died.
