Chipko leader suffers heart attack

DEHRA DUN: Veteran “Chipko” leader Sundar Lal Bahuguna was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Swami Ram Himalayan Hospital near here on Tuesday after he complained of chest pain. Doctors said he suffered a heart attack but was improving now. He had come to the hospital to participate in the Swami Ram Memorial Award ceremony.
