2 Gujarat officials to look into “poll code violation”

GANDHINAGAR: Two Gujarat officials have been appointed in the State Election Commission office to look into complaints of model code of conduct violation.

B.B. Swain, IAS, has been appointed Additional Chief Election Officer and D.A. Satya as his deputy to look into the complaints.

The State election office has already received more than 300 complaints of alleged violation of the model code of conduct, including one against the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry involving Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
