World Diabetes Day observed

BERHAMPUR: A mass walk was organised by the city unit of the World Diabetes Foundation, as part of the World Diabetes Day celebrated here on Wednesday to create awareness among people to lead a healthy life.

Student of second standard from a local school flagged off the walk from the Red Cross Hospital. People of all ages, from students to senior citizens took part in the walk.

As part of the celebrations, a free health check up camp was conducted, in which some 200 patients were screened. An infotainment program was organised on the premises of Red Cross hospital for the general public.
