Diabetes rally flagged off

Kakinada: East Godavari Collector M Subrahmanyam flagged off the `diabetes rally’ organised by the Apollo Hospitals here on Wednesday to mark the World Diabetes Day. He stressed the need for awareness among the people on both prevention and the treatment of diabetes.

I V Rao, retired Director of medical education, was the chief guestC Suryaprakasa Rao, Medical Director, Srinivas, administrator, and Somayajulu of Apollo Hospitals spoke about the high rate of incidence of diabetes world wide. Additional SP AV Ranga Nath was the guest of honour.
