BJP stages dharna

VIZIANAGARAM: Leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday staged a dharna at the RTC Complex here demanding minimum support price of Rs. 1,000 for paddy. P.V.V. Gopala Raju, party State committee member, who participated in the dharna, demanded that the Government extend the ‘paavala vaddi’ scheme to farmers.

Party mandal president K. Ananda Rao, incharge of Bobbili Parliamentary constituency P. Sanyasi Raju, district general secretary B. Siva Prasad Reddy and others participated. —Correspondent
